" i know its mean also any time you like you could pop over to my cousins and get away for a time, you know i want to free slaves that need it if he might sell you to me you would be free again in a minute after i got you and he would not be able to stop me but i don't think that would work to well" i said and shrugged. i heard that the dragon riders were coming and that i liked for i might even get a dragon which would help me even more with getting slaves free "something would of happened to make him hate Elves so much " i said and added " i have a few horses that i will be selling soon they might come in useful to" i smiled at them .

"You can touch the eggs once you turn fifteen. My birthday's just been so that's the age i am at the moment. I wonder though if the dragons will choose any of us..." She sighed, knowing this was not going to be the easiest of things for her to be able to get away with doing under Dinma's nose. "I'm sure that someone will be chosen, there always is every time them come. They come once every three months, so I see a lot of people touching them."
She sighed, there was a longing in her to touch an egg and have it hatch. For if she succeeded then she would be a slave no longer. "For me to hatch one would eb away out of slavery. Only those who have been really good though will he give the chance."
She knew she was not one of them. "I won't be one of them... Dont do anything too drastic."

Jebidiah
He nearly yelled out in happiness, for he was fifteen, and soon to be sixteen. However, he restrained himself, seeing the look on Javrena's face. Instead he laughed and winked at Gem. "Us, do something drastic? Never. Bear in mind here, Gem, that we're going to have to sneak half the people who will help us in because they're not old enough, then cause a large enough distraction to get Dinma off his lazy backside, then find you and everyone else he's been hiding and get you to the eggs, while alerting your parents at the same time, and then I'm going to have to help Javrena slip into the line, all while keeping lord Dimbo busy." he was grinning, seeing his blond-haired friend look at him with a smile. She'd have to get a dragon to hatch. He just knew she had to touch one of them.
"Drastic is an understatement."
Javrena
She grinned and nodded, laughing. The two were going to have fun this time around. especially her. "And the horses could come in handy, though I don't want to use them for riding." she said, looking at Mythic. "I'm Javrena by the way, and the lazy boy in the tree is Jebidiah."

He looked slightly annoyed, his blue eyes racking the newest addition to the group with indignation. The pie fight had stopped, though a boy's call could still be heard coming from the hidden hole. "Not going to work. Look, Mythic, Dinma Dungface won't sell a half-elf to anyone. He wouldn't sell any of his slaves. He's way too greedy for that to work. Plus, what we need is to get Gem to the dragon eggs, as well as everyone else. That way, so long as the eggs hatch for them, they'll be free. I'm not going to free just Gem. When Jav' and I do something like this, it's all or nothing. Usually all."
Javrena
She nodded, then smiled. "Not every person who gets out will be able to connect with an egg. Could you get them away from Dinma before he and the guards catch them? Plus, your horses will add more to the madness." the tanned girl asked, looking between her three companions with interest.

The girl laughed, knowing only too well what that might come to show for her. There was no doubt in her mind that these guys really did want to see her happy again. “Alright, I give in, however... I also happen to know what drives the human king to hatred of my people.”
She sighed. “He loved the Elven Queen Ava once but she refused his hand and that angered him. Her younger sister though, Princess Anata loved him and he took her on instead. Sadly that's not the end of it. Just after Queen Anata birthed twins, she left him, knowing that he was going to be a traitor. She hid the children too, and only I know where they are outside of the forest. I shall not say as you could say she is an aunt to me. My mother, Laura was the daughter of Queen Ava's brother Sudryl.”
Gem sighed again. “Should Ava not manage to provide a heir to her thrown, it will be passed to me, though I am only a half elf. I on the other hand want it not.” Talk about fate doing things you dont want.

i smiled "i know that i know it would not work but hey it might have worked, oh and i have 4 horses that can help with what you want" i said and smiled thinking of them they were the most annoying horses i have ever had to deal with and they would do anything to start a fuss. i looked around and started thinking for i bit more "well i am going to have to go the long way around the farm to get those four out of there, i will do it when i get back home so we don't have to wait for them, also i know how to get them to make what were doing bigger" i said than thought i would need a two others to take a horse and chase the 4 horses around which would work nicely i hoped.

I sighed, knowing that Dinma was not going to fall for this really. "I better get back to the manor house before someone comes searching for me. Too much work to be done before the Riders get here themselves."
Too much to do which meant that I would not be getting too much sleep over the next few days. Lord Dinma would be having us all working in shifts around the clock, whether we were children or adults. As for meal times... we were to eat when we were not needed.
"If anythings going to deteriorate my health, its the amount of work to be done. Even when there is not much to be done we don't get much to eat and with this happening, we'll get even less."

FIVE DAYS LATER
I sighed as I saw Lord Dinma coming down to the slaves quarters in his enormous house. The steady beat of dragon wings could be heard and i glanced out the window. In the lead was a huge golden dragon, at least three hundred years old. She was the dragon that was leader of all the dragon riders who were still loyal to the patht they had been formed to make. Of course even witht he human kings hatred of the elves, her rider had to be allowed into the city, because of her Dragon Rider status.
She was my motehrs dragon and i knew that this was going to be the hardest day of my life. No doubt she already knew i was ehre, but then Dinma's soldiers were hiding me away and i had no chance of getting out of the dungeon cells that each servant was pushed into on their own. We ere all seperated, and for some reason I was shoved in one that was a long way from everyone else. How odd.

Rasei
"Guard the servants!"A tall fellow in Dimna's guard ordered, his face pinched as if he smelt something bad. In Rasei's mind, it improved his looks.
"Are the servants going to slaughter us all, Guardsman?" She asked curiously, injecting the tiniest bit of contempt. Guards, always thinking they were better than her. They all fought for money in the end. Dimna wasn't really a charismatic leader. There had been a guardswoman she had respected once. but she forced her mind away. She was far from home, a murderer now. Athayla most likely wouldn't look her in the eye, no matter how many pies they'd stolen as children.
"Just do it. Why else are we paying yer?" He growled
"Dimna is paying me," She replied dryly.
"That's Lord Dimna to yer, scum!"
"Whatever," Rasei rolled her eyes and drew her sword, assuming a 'ready' stance, if the servants tried to overwhelmed the heavily armed and armored mercenaries. The guard glared but marched off to perform in a show of strength for the benefit of the visiting elves.
As soon as she was sure no one but her friends or at least frenemies were watching she eased the door open, grinning.
"Hello there."

I sighed, knowing that my mother was out there somewhere above my head right this moment and she would have no idea that I here. It sucked a lot. I did not know the girl that was guarding me at all. I was not willing to try talking to her, though I had noticed the slight elf-like face she had.
Another half blood like I was. Only I was the one who was looking at becoming Queen on the Elves one day. That was... if my Aunt, the true Queen Ava, did not produce a heir. Not something that wasn't likely to happen.
Then someone spoke as I heard the door open to the tiny cell I'd been so carelessly thrown in. I looked up and smiled only the tiniest bit at her. It was that member of the Black Hand...
“Hello,” I replied, a little shy. I knew my face was more like an elf's than hers was.. my birthday would come soon, and then I would really be revealed to be one of the elves, though I was not fully.
I lifted on hand shifting my long dirty blond hair from my face and winced as I did. Only yesterday I had been whipped, and my back was barely even healing.

Rasei
"It appears we are kin," Rasei said over-cheerfully. She noticed the girl looked thin and ragged. Slavery was abhorrent a practice. Humans. She couldn't say she was better than them-she'd done some brutal things, and not all of her single-minded ruthlessness came from humanity, she was willing to admit, "I am curious, how'd you end up in here?'
Rasei realized she probably wasn't the person the half-elf would want as a guard. Gimmary would risk limbs to rescue a pretty young half-elf. Rasei didn't know this girl well enough to care enough to try and break this girl out. She was intrigued though.

Jebidiah
The brown-haired boy shifted slightly, looking up to the dragon riders. They were gathered within Dinma's hall, each hopefully looking around at others, nervous and excited. Jeb, however, was smirking to his older siblings, as well as his twin, Zade. Jennifer stood in the center of the girls, though she didn't speak to any of them. Next to her, Gertrude was speaking, but it was obvious only a few were listening to her. No, the two that were attracting the attention were Siena and Andra, though Bethany was the usual favorite. The girl wasn't able to come, for she was just barely under the age of fifteen. Yet if there was one person in Jeb's family who could get a dragon egg to hatch, he would have bet upon her. She was the sweetest of his sisters, and still able to pound any boy her age.
In the group of older boys stood Hardas and Theodore, two of Jeb's other siblings. Both had the same brown hair that the troublemaking teen had, but Hardas had chocolaty brown eyes and a friendly smile that attracted girls to him like a magnet attracts copper. Brendan and Darris stood with Jeb's parents, for they were too old to touch the eggs. Jeb felt a bit sorry for them, because Darris had deeply wanted to gain a dragon for a companion. The oldest of Jeb's siblings, Darris had a deft hand and low voice, with natural instinct on how to care for animals. He didn't hunt, and the deer came to him with their fawns. The rabbits... Well, they didn't trust him, but it was hard to please everyone. Darris' constant companion was a hawk, untrained and dangerous. Even now, Ruby sat upon his shoulder, looking at everyone with sharp eyes and a clicking beak.
Beside Jeb stood Zade, his twin, who was twiddling his thumbs, waiting, as he was. The two were practically identical, but Zade's eyes were almost green. That was the only difference between the two. Nothing else. It came in handy quite often...
Opposite them sat little Tash, their cousin, and an invalid orphan. Her leg was twisted oddly from birth. Jeb couldn't help but notice that most girls her age avoided her. Not Javrena though, who was one of Tash's few friends. Poor Tash. She probably wouldn't dare to touch the eggs, afraid of becoming a dragon rider who could do little to help anyone.
They knew what was going to happen, as did their parents. Zack and Garita, his mother and father, weren't happy with it, but they agreed that it was for the best.
"Three... Two... One..." he counted down, then looked over at Tash. No longer was his cousin alone. Javrena was standing next to her, whispering frantically in the other's ear. "Part one, complete success..."

GEM [in response to Rasei!] “I suppose we are, yes. I noticed that already, though I think I'm older than you in that respect. You won't have any trouble hiding unlike me.” The girl sighed, knowing things were bad here, but Rasei would have no idea about that. “As for how I got her....” She thought for a moment, trying to decide how best to tackle that question. “Well I certainly did not break any rules, if you must know. I'm the niece of the elven Queen Ava, and at the moment her heir, until she has a daughter of her own. Her brother Sudryl is my mother Laura's father. You've likely heard of my mother before, she is the Head Rider. I was stolen from her and my father... ten years ago when I was a lot younger from my home in Ciarbera. My father is the Lord Zelphar, leader of Ciarbera.”Riders “Bizandra says there is a lot of unhappiness underneath us,” the golden haired, grey eyed, centuries old female leader of the Riders remarked to one of the other Dragon Riders. “That old golden dragon seems to know everything,” her friend remarked. This was another elf, with charcoal black hair and dark iron grey eyes. “Well, we have been around on this land for the last... three centuries, Jhaer. You've been around a century yourself.”
