I shot upright in bed, knowing that something was wrong here. There had to be something going on because why, during the dead of night could I hear dragons coming towards the town? My mother never sent the dragons out like this during the night.
Moving to the window I looked out for a second to see a huge tongue of flames light up a house nearby. The golden dragon flew past, and I saw other houses being set on fire. This was not right at all. Who would do such a thing?
Then I caught a glimpse of the simply massive blue and red dragon watching from the sky as the others attacked. There was no mistaking him for Rhothilion. But what was he doing helping an attack on the town his rider's brother lived in? What had the people here done to ask for this extreme punishment?
I knew there was a reason for everything but that did not seem to matter to him. I remembered though that just this morning I had gotten a message from my mother, and that she had warned me about what Lindan Marcos was up to. That was something that worried me indeed.
I woke Drannor, who had been staying with me, seeing as we knew each other too well for Glenawing's liking and we headed downstairs and out of the building into the main street.

Glenawing
He looked outside with shock as he saw dragons burning homes down, he jumped more or less fell out of his bed and staggered to get his armour and sword. He put his armour on swiftly and woke his men and his good friend Surya.
"Surya wake up the town is well being attacked we need to leave now and quickly get your armour on and grab your bow." Glenawing rushed out his room and out the Inn searching if he could fine Gem he spotted her standing with Drannor. "You two get over here now and hurry!" he didn't want Maqrcos finding them as it would not be a happy meeting.

I knew that things would not be pleasant among my mothers followers when she heard about this. "Mother is going to be furious when she learns of this destruction." But what had caused such a reaction. And what were these other Dragon Riders doing, doing things that were not the will of the Head Rider? It made no sense to me.
When we reached the others, I spoke quickly. "I guess we have two options. We can either head for the forest, or seek safety in my father's town. We would be safe there, I am sure."
I eyed Rhothilion though. I could see that he was watching for something, and I sure as hell hoped he was not looking for elves. Same went for the half elves as well. Seeing as I was one of them. The dusk dragon had healing powers, that worked on humans and elves alike. Something i wanted no where near me.

He looked at her, "I say we go to the forest it is the safest thing to do, Marcos will never send his ridersn and armies in as he knows the elves will not tolerate him being in the forest." he looked up at the dusk dragon, "Now hurry we need to make a descision before we get eaten or worse captrued by that half witted dragon and his rider."
He kept one hand on the pommel of his sword incase he needed to defend Gem and Drannor and his men from andy riders or dragons, he was more then a match for them, or that's what he had thought.

“I do not think that they are aware of this..” I muttered though I knew there were things to be worried about. I knew that none of us were a match for these Dragon Riders.
Chaos seemed to be everywhere at the moment, but that made no sense, there were gaurds who seemed to be locking up anyone who seemed effected by all the turmoil at the moment. That hardly seemed fair at the moment.
I followed the others towards the main gates, but as we got closer, down came one of the Dragon Riders and his dragon. The green brute snarled at us and I knew there was no chance of us getting out this way. "There has to be another way..."

He drew his blade instictivly and yelled, "Run!" he began to sprint at full speed away from the dumb brute of a dragon and rider. He kept on looking back ot make sure everyone was there and they weren't to far behind. He yelled out again, "Come one hurry up and don't straggle behind unless you want to become dinner for the Dragons." he slowed down a little so that he would be with the others.
He stoped for a moment panting after he was sprinting full speed. HE needed to catch his breath before he could carry on.

I sighed, glaring at the dragon for a moment before following the others quickly away. I knew that my mother would know I was in trouble again, she had cast a spell that would alert her if there was trouble where i was.
Something red hit me though, and my legs buckled. I yelped as they did, rolling over to see a red dragon swooping down towards me, feet outstretched to grab me. Only seconds before he could though, something huge and gold rammed into him.
Bizandra. The leader of dragon kind at the moment. She roared, screaming in anger at the dragons. She was not the only one and I could see that my mother had brought enough dragons to sidetrack the attacking ones long enough for most of us to escape.
I tried to move but failed, my legs and body would not obey me. "Drannor!"
